DBI will support students’ academic success and personal growth through tutoring, mentoring, and advocacy.

  • Our education-based intervention efforts and cultural activities help youth build their self-esteem through a learning process about themselves, their family, and the community and on how to take control of their future via education and financial literacy. 

Financial literacy

DBI will provide workshops, resources, and coaching to help students and families develop skills and habits for managing their money, saving for the future, and avoiding debt.

  • Hosting workshops on budgeting, saving, and investing for community members of all ages.
  • Providing resources and guidance for individuals seeking to improve their financial literacy and stability.
  • Collaborating with local financial institutions to offer accessible banking and financial planning services.
  • Organize financial fairs and events to showcase local financial institutions, programs, and opportunities.
